Earth Monument Raku Urn

Copper and bronze fade into deep blue across the tall, elegant Earth Monument Raku Urn, topped with a dark sculpted lid. Its smooth glaze shimmers with the colors raku firing is known for.

Each raku urn is hand-glazed and fired, so the colors and crackle patterns on yours will be completely its own.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size urn do I need?

A common guideline is one cubic inch of capacity for every pound of body weight before cremation, so a 210 cubic inch urn like the Earth Monument Raku Urn generally fits an adult who weighed up to about 210 pounds.

What is raku pottery?

Raku is a firing technique where pottery is taken from the kiln while still glowing hot and placed in combustible material. The smoke and rapid cooling create the metallic colors and crackle patterns that make each piece unique.

How do I care for a ceramic urn?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which can dull the glaze.

How quickly will my urn ship?

Orders placed by 1:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, ship the same business day. Orders placed after the cutoff ship the next business day. Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
